803 is a 1999 Horton Type III on a Ford E350 chassis. This Ambulance was purchased from 5Alarm in Fort Atkinson, WI. This Rig is The Third or backup unit. It is only in service as a back up to 801 and 802 when one of those two needs to be removed from service. 803 became the spare after serving as primary in 1999, then being moved to secondary in 2003. as of 2/17/09 this unit was numbered 803 and used as a spare.
